The Next Level of ATP Detection

SuperSnap™ is the most sensitive ATP surface test in Hygiena’s portfolio of all-in-one devices. Designed to work with all Hygiena™ luminometers, SuperSnap detects extremely low levels of ATP so it can be used as an allergen cross-contamination prevention tool or when dealing with harsh samples. By incorporating SuperSnap into a prevention program, risks and issues are recognized in real time and immediate corrective actions can be implemented before product change-overs.

What is ATP testing?

Adenosine Triphosphate, or ATP, is the energy molecule found in all living things, making it a perfect indicator when trying to determine if a surface is clean or not. Food and beverage processors use ATP systems to rapidly verify surfaces have been cleaned thoroughly so that new product runs are not contaminated by prior product residues, and to ensure that biofilms that could affect quality are not developing.

With an ATP hygiene monitoring system, (or sometimes referred to as - an ATP sanitation monitoring system), ATP is brought into contact with Hygiena's unique liquid-stable reagent in the test device. Light is then emitted in direct proportion to the amount of ATP present in the sample, providing information on the level of contamination in seconds.

Description

Four times as powerful.

Resistant to concentrated sanitizers and harsh environments, SuperSnap is Hygiena’s highest-powered ATP test device.

With four times the sensitivity than Hygiena’s basic ATP test, UltraSnap™, SuperSnap raises the standard for ATP detection. To learn more about the differences between SuperSnap and UltraSnap, visit the resource section below.

A simple and quick solution to prevent allergen cross-contamination.

Product change-overs are typically fast but allergen-specific tests are costly and slow. When you factor in complicated extraction methods, test procedures, and the variability of results based on your food matrix, you have an inefficient and costly process.

Incorporating SuperSnap into an allergen prevention program with the optional addition of AllerSnap™ reduces costs and provides results in real time. For instruction on how to incorporate SuperSnap and AllerSnap into your food safety program see the resource section below.

Benefit
  • Superior resistance to sanitizer effects
  • More resistant to challenging product residues and production environments at extreme pHs
