  • The RX-9000α is a fully automatic digital refractometer with the highest level of accuracy of its kind.
  • Designed with a wide measurement range, measurement temperature range, and highest measurement accuracy, this instrument is suitable for multiple sample types ; such as measuring oils and fats with high melting points, aroma oils of high refractive index and organic solvents, meeting demands for high accuracy measurements.
  • The RX-9000α has a built-in Peltier thermo module for maintaining a constant sample temperature while taking measurements. Manual calibration is also possible to adjust to standard liquid values and to correct differences in measurement values between instruments.
  • This product comes standard with a two (2) year limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects from the date of the original purchase. The warranty period can be extended to three (3) years if the product is registered with ATAGO.
  • FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Software Included in Standard Delivery.

Mode MODE-1:

MODE-1: For maximum accuracy

Application Examples
 
Refractive Index
 
Refractive Index is a common quality standard measure for pharmaceutical or chemical products. Measurements need to be taken at a constant temperature, commonly 20°C, 25°C, and 40°C. The RX-α units are equipped with the internal Peltier Thermo-Module, and measurement starts once the target temperature is reached.

Brix is measured for quality control purposes in the food and beverage industries. The RX-α units are widely used for fruit juice, condiments, jams, and honey. The RX-007α (minimum indication 0.001% Brix) is used for tea and unsweetened drinks.
