Leica | DISTO D510
The Leica DISTO™ D510 is a 14 measurement mode LDM that is accurate to 1/16th of an inch. It is IP65 rated against dust, dirt and rain and features an integrated digital camera, a sunlight-visible LCD screen, 360° tilt sensor, and Bluetooth Smart.
With a 600'-plus range, the D510 can shoot a target at distances that exceed your ability to see the laser dot, especially outside. The point finder -- a 4x zoom digital camera with crosshairs on the LCD display -- solves this problem.
The farther you can shoot, the more potential there is for something to get in the way. Smart Horizontal allows you to shoot over obstacles so you can measure the level horizontal distance to your target.
At distance, even a small wobble in the tool translates to the laser point bouncing in wide arcs on your target . For best results when measuring long distances, keep your dot steady with a tripod and Leica's patented Fine Tune Adapter.

- Painter Function - When the DISTO is in area or volume mode, add / subtract function to total up the are of several surfaces, or subtract an area
- Pythagoras Functions - Take indirect height and width measurements
- Trapezium Function - Useful for determining the length and slope of a roof section, and the area it covers.
- Sloped Object Measurement - Indirect distance measuring between two points
- Height Tracking - Perfect for measuring the height of an overhead wire
- Height Profile Tracking - Measure slopes with multiple shots
- Stake Out Function - Uses the continuous measurement mode to indicate where to place stakes along a stake-out line
