Description
The carbon monoxide meter has a measuring range of 0 ... 1000 ppm. In addition to the carbon monoxide measurement, the air quality detector also has a carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor with a measuring range of 0 ... 9999 ppm and a temperature and humidity sensor. The air quality detector already covers a large range of measuring tasks. The air quality detector is therefore used, for example, in occupational safety to check the climatic conditions in office workplaces.
During the measurement, the readings are stored on the carbon monoxide meter. Up to 5000 measuring points can be saved on the air quality detector. The CO² and CO content, as well as the temperature and humidity are saved by the air quality detector for each storage point. After a measurement run, the stored measurement values can be viewed directly on the air quality detector.
For further processing, the readings recorded by the carbon monoxide meter can be transferred to a computer. The transfer takes place via the Micro-USB interface of the air quality detector. When connecting the CO and CO² meter to a computer, it is recognized as a mass data storage device. The saved measured values are saved by the air quality detector in CSV file format and can therefore be processed directly.
The built-in 1500 mAh battery in the carbon monoxide meter enables mobile use. To charge the battery, the air quality detector can be connected to a 5 VDC power supply via the micro-USB interface. The air quality detector can continue to be used during the charging process to take measurements. For an optimal and longer-lasting measurement of the air quality detector there is a 1/4 inch connection on the back. With this connection, the air quality detector can be attached to a tripod and aligned.
